KACHIMUSHI — The Story
Inspired by the Japanese symbolism of the dragonfly, known as Kachimushi (勝ち虫), meaning Victory Insect.
In Japanese samurai culture, the dragonfly became a symbol of courage, strength, determination and forward movement. Its ability to fly forward, rather than backward, made it a powerful emblem of the warrior spirit.
We bring this symbolism into a contemporary fashion statement through a striking crimson-red dragonfly illustration, presented on an off-white fabric patch stitched onto a premium linen shirt. The contrasting artwork and Japanese lettering give the design a distinctive vintage-inspired character.
